Jefferson County will hold their annual Household Hazardous Waste Day Saturday, April 21 at several locations.  The location closest to Pinson is the Center Point Court House parking lot between the ball field and the Court House building.  A few items will not be accepted such as closed gas containers or computer monitors.  A drive-through will be set up and staff will ask your zip code then unload the items from your truck or trunk.  Please make sure containers are not leaking and are tightly sealed, hazardous waste is packed into cardboard boxes and packed away from passengers and pets.  Household hazardous waste is any product that is toxic, poisonous, corrosive, flammable, combustible or reactive.

Drop-off time is from 8:00a.m. – noon.
