The news was on the scene of a shooting November 1 that took place in the parking lot of Mission Possible located on Highway 75 in Pinson. Dead at the scene was a 46 year old Hanceville woman. She was still seated in her pick up truck and had been shot multiple times. |
As Deputies arrived and roped off the crime scene, several bystanders in the parking lot said they didn’t see the shooter but heard the shots, ducked behind cars, then heard more shots. Some people said they thought a child was also involved. Others voiced their concerns that the situation could be over drugs which was not the case. Detectives at the scene said that no child was involved but that a Child’s jacket was on the seat next to the victim therefore some people assumed a child was also in the vehicle. |
One witness explained that he and another man in a white truck saw the shooter jump into her maroon van speeding away from the scene. He had the same idea as the 2nd witness which was to jump into his vehicle and follow the suspect as she sped from the scene. According to Jefferson County’s Sheriffs report Deputies responded to a shots fired call in the parking lot of a Pinson business in the 4500 block of Center Point Road just before 5 pm this evening. |
